Starting your own pad brand? Here's what you need to know first
These are the four questions almost every new client asks us. Straight answers, before you even send an inquiry.
How many do I need?
200,000 pads per size
That's about 20,000 bags of 10 day pads, or roughly 420 export cartons. Most new brands launch with 2–3 sizes, for example a liner, a day pad and a night pad.
What will it cost?
≈ $2,900 – $7,100 per size
A full MOQ run of 155 mm liners up to 245 mm ultra-thin day pads, including your printed bags and one-time printing plates. Calculate your own mix.
What do I provide?
Your brand name & logo
We supply the product, the bag dieline and production. Send artwork as AI, PSD or CDR, or let our team lay out your design. You approve a proof before anything is printed.
How long does it take?
About 6–8 weeks
From first message to shipment for a typical first order: samples, artwork, printing plates and production. Re-orders are faster because your plates are already made.

Not sure what to ask for?
Show us a pad you love. We'll build your own version.
Most first-time clients don’t know the technical terms, and that’s fine. Send us a pad you already like from your local market (or clear photos of the pad and its pack). Our lab measures it and turns it into a specification for your brand.
- Length, width & wing span
- Thickness & core type
- Absorption capacity & speed
- Rewet: how dry it stays
- Top sheet softness & pattern
- Backsheet & adhesive strength

Your brand, not a copy
We match the performance you like, not another company's identity. We don't reproduce other brands' names, logos, pack designs or colour schemes, and we'll tell you if artwork looks too close to a famous brand. Original packaging protects your Amazon listings and retail deals and keeps you clear of trademark disputes.
Step 1 · The core
Choose your core: it decides feel, absorbency and price
The absorbent core is the heart of the pad. We make two types, so you can match your market rather than pay for something your customers don’t need.
★ Our specialty
Ultra-thin SAP core
Super-absorbent polymer (SAP) is sealed between layers of dust-free tissue to form one thin absorbent sheet. Fluid turns into gel and stays locked in, so the pad stays flat, dry and discreet.
- Thin and flexible, invisible under clothes
- Fast absorption, low rewet: feels dry
- Core doesn't clump or shift while worn
- Compact packs: more pads per carton, lower freight per pad
- Standard spec: 185 g/m² SAP absorbent paper
Best for: modern brands, e-commerce, mid-to-premium retail, hot and humid climates
Price level: ●●●○ Mid
Budget option
Fluff pulp + SAP core
Wood fluff pulp blended with SAP. A thicker, cushioned pad at a lower cost per piece. Absorbency is lower than our ultra-thin core, so it suits markets where price matters most.
- Lowest price per pad
- Soft, thick cushion many traditional users prefer
- Simple, proven construction
- Bulkier packs: fewer pads per carton
Best for: price-driven markets, wholesale and tenders, customers who prefer a thick pad
Price level: ●●○○ Low
| Compare | Ultra-thin SAP core | Fluff pulp + SAP core |
|---|---|---|
| Thickness | Ultra-thin | Thick, cushioned |
| Absorbency | Higher | Standard |
| Dryness (rewet) | Very dry | Good |
| Comfort | Flexible, discreet | Soft, padded feel |
| Pads per carton | More | Fewer |
| Price per pad | Mid | Lowest |

Step 3 · Make it yours
Build your pad, layer by layer
Pick the materials and features your customers will notice. Everything below can be combined with either core and any size.
Perforated hot-air nonwoven
Soft, fluffy and fast to let fluid through. Our standard top sheet (25 g/m²).
Printed PE bag (standard)
0.08 mm composite PE, up to 8 print colours. The most economical option.

FAQ
Questions new brand owners ask us
Can I order less than 200,000 pads?
Our MOQ is 200,000 pads per size. Each size needs its own printed bag film and printing plates, and a smaller run isn’t economical for you or for us. If you’d like to test your market first, start with one size (most brands choose the 245 mm day pad) and add more sizes when you re-order.
Can I combine different sizes to reach 200,000?
No, the MOQ applies to each size separately. A liner + day + night line-up, for example, is 3 × 200,000 = 600,000 pads.
What is the printing plate fee, and why is it paid upfront?
Your bags are gravure-printed, which needs one engraved plate cylinder per colour. Each plate costs about ¥500 (≈ $75), so a 6-colour design is about $448 per size. The plates are made only for your brand, so they’re paid 100% before production. The exact colour count is confirmed from your final artwork.
Do I pay for plates again when I re-order?
Not if your artwork and bag size stay the same: we keep your plates for re-orders. If you change the design, only the colours that change need new plates.
Can you make a pad like a famous brand I buy at the supermarket?
We can match the performance you like (size, thickness, absorbency, softness) after testing a sample. We can’t copy another company’s brand name, logo, packaging design or patented features, and we advise you not to use them on your pack either. An original design is safer and helps your brand stand out on the shelf.
Ultra-thin or fluff pulp: which core should I choose?
Choose the ultra-thin SAP core if you sell to modern, online or mid-to-premium customers who want a discreet, dry pad. It’s our specialty. Choose fluff pulp + SAP if price is the main driver in your market or your customers prefer a thick, cushioned pad. Not sure? We can send both as samples.
What's included in the price?
The pads, your printed bags and standard export cartons, ex-works our factory in Foshan. Printing plates are listed separately. Sea or air freight, import duties and local taxes are not included; we can quote FOB or CIF once we know your quantities.
What are the payment terms?
30% deposit on the goods plus 100% of the plate fee to start production, and the balance before shipment.
Can I get samples before I order?
Yes. We send free samples of our standard pads so you can compare cores and top sheets; you cover the courier cost.
Do you help with packaging design?
Yes. We send a dieline for your bag size. You can design it yourself (AI, PSD or CDR files) or our team can lay out your logo and text. You approve a final proof before plates are made.
Which certificates and reports can you provide?
ISO 9001, FDA registration, CE, SGS test reports and GOST, plus GOTS certification from our organic raw material supplier. For export we also issue Certificates of Origin, Form E and CCPIT documents.
